Beginning in 2007, Mario Pagès from the Porsche Club Méditerranée, organized France's  most important Porsche Classic Meeting in Luberon, Provence, France : "La Fête des Classics". This intimate gathering is open to all Porsches made before 1998, from the 356 all the way up to the 993.

The real fun began right after the 82nd Monte Carlo Rallye came to a close. Competitors were ushered by the Automobile Club of Monaco to participate in the 17th Rallye Monte Carlo Historique.

In celebration of a new Millennium, a handful of enthusiasts living near Mont Ventoux, France decided to drive up its twisting roads, stop at the very point where the snow made it impassable, and uncork some Champagne. They found this moment so memorable that they made a vow to repeat it year after year.

I've always loved the 928. I was 3 years old when Porsche built it in the late 70's. At that time, I received that friction car 928 made by Joustra as a christmas present, and it quickly became my favorite toy.
