1977 Porsche 924 2.0 liter 4 speed manual 91000 miles
kept in garage and covered Nice little classic sports car. All original not molested. I start it up a couple times a month and drive it 4 or 5 times a year. It runs very well and is fun to drive. In 1977 Porsche made the 924 and sent 5000 of this model to the USA.
On a scale form 1 to 10 10 being show room perfect this is a 7 book price is $9780.00 so it not perfect it's 37yrs old and has some minor flaws, 2 small rips in drivers seat, a paint chip on drivers finder, small dent by fuel cap, surface rust on doors at window molding, the horn windshield squirt and ac not working, radio needs reprogramming after installing a new battery. Car is kept indoors and not driven in the rain so if you want to see it you might want to check the forecast before you make the trip. No tire kickers only serious buyers.
Reseda Green Metallic...this, apparently, was a rare factory option. But it's not so much the color I'm interested in; this early 924 is in such a good state of preservation that it literally makes the color the icing on the cake.
Finding early, unmolested examples like this are very hard to come by especially at a pretty reasonable price. Remember, this is the first year they were available stateside being offered in July of '76 with a base price of USD$9395. That's USD$37,936...you read that right. Consider too that only 36,902 examples were ever imported from '76 to '82.
So, I'll go out on a limb here and guess that roughly half of that number exists today in some way, shape, or form. Relatively rare I'd say, no?http://boise.craigslist.org/cto/4422220383.htmlhighball!
