"The 968 Club Sport receives a full respray in its original Guards Red colour, just as it would have appeared in 1994. The Porsche has been fully stripped to its bear components, sandblasted, and primed ready for the new paint coat."

until a video like this surfaced, enthusiasts had only images and maybe an Auto show to get any idea of what this new creature in the 944's evolution was all about. imagine, then, what Porsche enthusiasts were thinking when they first saw the 968 in motion.

like a tame lioness, she lies still as you circle around and examine every inch. how often do those without one get to hear this beast breathe or see details left to the imagination because she never sits long enough? and just when you think you can finally get this close...POOF—she's gone.

Mitsuwa Motors was the exclusive Porsche dealer in Japan before Porsche began developing their own dealership network there. although rare, there are quite a few 968s that made it out of Japan to other countries. so if you see one with a Mitsuwa Motors emblem on it, you'll know all about it's origins.

the 928 makes a brief cameo in this Japanese film on Porsche's 1993 models. as you watch the 964 suddenly break loose on the chatty driver, you'll understand two things: one, this was the last 911 to have rear trailing arms which, despite coilovers, still prove Porsche's stubbornness after 30 years of 911 development; the 993's LSA rear suspension finally curbed such behavior. two, how well behaved the 968 is.

in Japanese...but turn on the English subtitles and you'll laugh your balls off at the most insane pairing of words you've ever seen.

the 968 and the Yeti have one thing in common; rare footage. Car Graphic magazine in Japan captured a good 20 minutes of her in action to show that the 968 does exist.

Bernd Fuhrmann and Olaf Brahmer are neighbors . Both drive Porsche , both have bought their cars at the same time , both are about the same age and equally strong. Otherwise, the differences between the cars could hardly be greater . More in Porschefahrer issue 4-2015 .
